Texas Holdem Tournaments

All Texas Holdem Tournaments have one common thing. You are not allowed to stand up and cash out your chips after the tournament starts. You must play until you have lost your chips or you have won everybody else's chips. There are several kinds of
the Texas Holdem tournaments.
The Texas Holdem Tournaments - Single-table - the event is held at one table. The participants are from 8 to 10. If a player is eliminated, nobody takes his/her place and the table gets shorter handed. The event finishes when one of the players accumulate all the chips, put in the game.
The Texas Holdem Tournaments - Multi-table tournament - In this events the participants play at more than one table, according to the number of the paid buy-ins. Each player is assigned to start play at a certain table. As players throughout the tournament bust out, the poker server moves players into the vacated seats and reduces the number of tables. When the tables come to one, the rules are the same as in the single table tournaments.
Buy-in - Each player pays a fee to participate at this tournament. The prize pool is formed by these fees. Usually, the top finalists split the pot, but the winner takes around 50% from it.
Freeroll - you don't have to pay real money buyin to enter there, but if you win you receive a prize pool of real money. These are a fun way for a beginner to start because there's no risk of losing any money but a chance to win some in return. This kind of tournaments has two versions - absolutely free and a "frequent player point" (FPP) freeroll. You use points that you have earned in the poker site's loyalty program to buy in. Some online poker rooms offer the opportunity to earn FPPs by playing in the play money games.
